Holland Test

The Holland Code (RIASEC) Career Test

The Holland Code (RIASEC) Career Test is a person-centered theory that focuses on career and career choice. The test groups people based on six job categories. These six categories produce the acronym RIASEC, for which the theory is also known. John L. Holland developed the theory during the beginning of his career in the 1950s, and ratings have become dominant in the field of career counseling and have been incorporated into the most commonly used assessments.
